Two years I’ve been chippin’ away at making ads for Bunnings.
And what a two years it’s been, writing for what has to be one of the most loved and trusted brands in the country.
I mean honestly, what other brand’s had the public remix it’s jingle and start a nationwide petition to host a rave at one of their stores?
To work on a brand like Bunnings requires a huge, and honestly sometimes painful, commitment to brand consistency and with each campaign I’ve tried to honour this while still saying something interesting and fresh.
I think I managed this with our Easter campaign, which recorded one of the highest recalls of a Bunnings campaign to date, and with OnePass x Bunnings work, which earned hundreds of thousands in new revenue for our client through increases subscriptions.
Some other fun stuff I’ve been involved in is building on the Bunnings Trade brand and get Bunnings retial on Spotify with some fun ads and even funner DIY playlists!
